Clean up crew in predatory fowlr

I need a cuc for my predatory fowlr tank. My fish are messy and small prices of food get cought between rocks. I can't keep crabs or star fishes because my triggers will kill it. Do amphipods, copepods and astrea starfish eat leftover food?

Why not something that can hold its ground like a sea urchin? Maybe even lobster? A wrasse?

I can't keep urchins and starfish because I have 2 triggers and I can't keep crabs and shrimp because of my eel. And another fish won't help because the small left over food pieces are the size of a grain of salt.

You can try a large Cowrie....I have had good luck with those in my somewhat aggressive reef. My Trigger and Bird Wrasses all leave them alone. I did try a long spine urchin, which unfortunately didn't last long :-(

I have a few larger pencil urchins in my 130G with a clown trigger and a pink tail trigger. They have not attempted anything against it yet. 6 months and counting. Also have about 4 larger turbo snails 1.5-2 inches.

Honestly in that tank you are the best cuc you can buy. I would just make sure you have great flow and siphon the sand and blow the rocks each time you do a water change

Also maybe if can find a fellow reefer whose rocks are covered in bristleworms and stars that might help a little. Pods are just too small so do anything
