Clean up crew sizing and questions

My tank is 2 months old and starting to develop gha and cyano. I had a hermit crab in there in the beginning but it died I think from starving to death this was before the algae outbreak. I added 3 snails in there yesterday but I was wondering if that is a sufficient cuc or if I should get some other stuff. Please lmk I am big noob. Also don’t want to kill anything else

What type of snails did you add?

Either Cerith or turbo not sure. It’s in the middle pick one of the snails.

Upon further review it’s probably 3 Trochus snails
