Hi, my tank is done cycling which is exciting I’m getting some great coralline algae and my tank is thriving with copepods and my perimeters are almost perfect which is also exciting it’s been cycling for about two months and I’ve worked pretty hard to get it perfect I’m planning on getting my quarantine tank set up this weekend for the following weekend or so and I’m wondering what kind of clean up crew I should plan on getting, I want my first fish to be a gold striped maroon clownfish, what kind of clean crew should I get?

I just setup a new 125 gallon I got my clean up crew from reefcleaners.com I got 1/2 so instead of the 125 galllon I got the 75 gallon setup
I am very happy.

Cool, thanks everybody should I quarantine my CUC? I’ve heard mixed reviews about it

I’ve boughten my clean up crew from Reef cleaners and live aquaria. I loved both but I really wanted trochus snails and that’s why I went with liveaquaria the second time.

Astrea snails, trochus snails, Nerite snails, turbo snails, and cerith snails are my go to ones.

I don’t quarantine but I don’t recommend it. If you want to do it the right way then I would quarantine it for 72 days. But if you don’t add any fish for 72 days, you could add them to the display and wait that way.

I personally acclaimate my snails. Then tank a strainer and wash them off with my tank water and in they go. No issues for me. Been in the hobby for 5 plus years.

Good luck!
