Clean up crew?

Hi,

I currently have 1 conch, 5 astrea snails and 2 nassarius (i know these don’t impact), but i have a lot of diatoms. i don’t want to starve my snails and conch but I just have so many diatoms. I have a 20 gallon 24x18, should I add more CUC? What should I add? Diatoms are on rock, glass, sand.

how long have you had them in there? and if its a lot, it takes a while for them little critters to get to work. Doesnt happen in a week. Also get some ceriths, nerites. they work.

Feb 1 I added 2 astrea and 2 nassarius

Are the diatoms increasing ? Have you halted or slowed their growth?

How old is your tank? Sea Cucumbers are ideal for an established mature tank. Most Brittle and Serpent Sea Stars are also welcomed additions to reef biotopes.
