Cleaner Clownfish?

Been keeping tanks for a long time. I've had cleaner shrimp and watched as fish would roll up in the submissive position to be cleaned by the shrimp. Has anyone ever seen a clownfish clean fish??

My gem tang comes over to my clown, opens fins, rolls over sideways and the clown will look him over and take a bite every once in awhile... it's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.

I'm trying to get a picture, but they always stop when I approach the tank thinking they will be fed. Just curious if anyone else has seen a clown "clean" another fish.

Sounds like unique behavior for sure. I would setup a camera on them and hope to catch it on film.
A picture would be nice. A video would be much better.

I'll start keeping my phone closer so I can get a video next time... It's crazy to watch!

I realize this is an old post but I have seen my clown doing this exact same thing to my purple tang...Purple tang offers himself off and the clown obliges, takes a few pecks, and they both move on.
