Hello! My first fish are home and settling in well but I already know I’m going to need to get a (small?) cleaner crew in soonish especially as I’m learning how much the fish eat etc. so I’m looking for suggestions/recommendations to make a plan and don’t get waylaid into a tank friend that I don’t really want when it comes time to make purchases.

I’ve got 2 clowns in a 36 gal. With plans for other fish down the line but no plans for corals at this time. They are getting a mix of pellet and frozen food at this point.

I won’t lie - terrified of snails as I’ve heard horror stories and no algae problems at this point.

hermit crabs are good. i dont know why you are terrified of snails but if you are really against them i would recommend an urchin

it’s kinda you had to be there story but I had a supervisor with several salt waters and he came into work one morning looking like he’d seen things muttering “snails. Snails everywhere”. It’s my luck that I’d wake up one morning to 5 bajillion snails and not know what to do with them I plan yo work to over came this fear eventually. Thanks for the suggestions!
