Cleaner shrimp earinh crabs

Hi all,

I bought some blue leg hermits and can't see them in my tank anywhere now? Seen my cleaner shrimp with one out of shell but not sure if it was a skin, adamant there is an empty shell or two that had then in.

Just wondering of this is a possibility?

I haven't actually seen then attacking them.

Parameters all good and stable, all healthy no deaths, red leg hermits loving life

I have two cleaner shrimps in with both red and blue legged hermit crabs and have never had a problem. I don’t think a cleaner shrimp would ever go after a hermit crab. Your crab may have had a failed molt .
