Cleaner shrimp giving birth

My cleaner shrimp just shook of thousands of baby's right in front of my eyes!
What's the chances of any of them surviving my fish went nuts eating them so I turned the lights out so they would chill lol I'm sure my mandarin and ruby red scooter are going to have a great nite

im sure its going to be close to very slim chances they will survive because of your fish and filtration unfortunately... at least you're fish are going to feast lol

Yeah it was really cool to watch I wish I had known I would have recorded it she just swam to the front of the tank while I was cleaning the glass and let me have it I had no idea she was even prego

I was just hoping they would make it to the rocks and some safety anyway but I'm sure there's several hundred in the socks now.
I have 3 of the cleaner shrimp in my tank I guess it's free food anyway!

Free food that's for sure.
be fore the y turn into a reasonable size of no snack you looking at 8 till 12 weeks.
By that time your fish already would have hunt them down.

How often will they do this I've had them in here for about 4 months now and and picked them up about two weeks apart I don't think she was prego when I got her they all have grown double since too
