Cleaner shrimp misbehaving

so I feed only a few pellets for him and my clowns yesterday. I normally feed lrs at night but not last night. Tonight I went to feed lrs and my shrimp goes nuts and goes right after my hammer like he always does . But tonight he ripped a few tentacles from my hammer trying to get to the food when there’s food floating everywhere. What a jerk!

Feed the shrimp first, then the corals. Also, if you keep him well fed he'll be much less food aggressive. When I first got mine they would go nuts and walk upside down on the water surface trying to get at the food. But after adding a CBB forcing me to feed more often and just more in general they got more food and eventually stopped messing with corals at all.

Yeah . My family loves him and I do too. He’s molted countless times and I do keep him well fed. Just not last night since I want to control my feeding a bit.

I usually feed him first since I know how he acts but tonight I wasn’t in the mood to pamper him and man did he pay back! Spoiled brat lol
