Is anyone keeping Cleaner Shrimp with Groupers? In the wild they live together. Was wondering if anyone is doing it in their home aquarium.

"Someone" ate my coral banded shrimp. I have a marine betta, so it's entirely possible he dined out. No shrimp right now in my tank because I suspect there are too many curious fish who like eating at the reef equivalent of Red Lobster.

Bummer. My triggers all let the shrimp clean them. My Niger and my picasso. I have seen videos of groupers on youtube letting multiple shrimp walk into their mouths and gills. I think maybe mine would inhale the shrimp too. I don't know. He needs the shrimp to clean him off.

Its like placing a hot dog in front of a dog- Lunch
Weve seen pics of them cleaning the mouth of a grouper - but a chance of luck

Has anyone or is anyone doing this successfully? I had my Picasso Triggetfish in with mine. The Picasso would lay on its side and let itself be cleaned. My Niger Trigger was always getting cleaned.

Opposed to triggers, groupers are opportunistic making the difference
