I have aptasia and a cleaner wrasse. My file fish doesn’t seem too interested in the aptasia so I’m thinking about getting some nudis.
I read that wrasses eat nudis so I’m asking the r2r experts.

adding a question. I haveabout 100 gallons. Do I really need to buy 8 nudis? I’m in Canada and they are $25each. Do I really need to spend $200 plus shipping?

They can and will eat them. But good thing for you is Berghia are nocturnal. I have an Ornate Leopard wrasse and Drusky wrasse and mine didn't get picked off. Shrimp(Peppermint) are real killers since they can get in all the small crevices the nudis hide. I ordered like 15 or so. Took about a month in my 120 with a mild infestation. Expensive but worth every penny and good if you can save them before they starve and give them to a fellow reefer.

When you add them(mine came in a jar) leave the jar over the rock you put them on so they can hide without being picked off)

Cleaner wrasses are usually safe with most inverts, I would actually be more concerned about the filefish eating them.

If its a matted filefish I have found that sometimes if they aren't eating the aiptasia if you zap a few with aiptasia x or Joe's juice that can get them to start eating them, especially if you skip feeding a day a week.
