Cleaner Wrasse Help

I posted in fish side of the forum but no answers, and im just really curious...

My cleaner wrasse is not moving in a bubble of slime like substance

What is it? What does it do? lights are on and the fish aint moving yet...

Depending on the type of wrasse, their are species of wrasse which build that bubble cocoon you are seeing there. That is completely harmless and that is how that wrasse protects itself to sleep at night. Nothing to worry about.
 
Yep some sleep in bubble of slime.

so its like a protective orb? Lol thats pretty cool
 
just got back from school. Dude this thing moves from spot to spot, but then goes to sleep again. This time it was on the sand with the mucus layer around it sleeping. It got out of there and is now on another part of a rock breathing heavy but creating another mucus orb.
