Cleaner wrasse

No, however I added a pair of cleaner shrimp and they rock for picking parasites off your fish.

it is not very common that they are kept alive. Most die pretty quickly for one reason or another. They are not good choices for aquairum fish. But most shops will not tell you this and still sell them.

I had one for 10 months, and it ate everything I put in the tank. Even seaweed on the clip. He didnt make it when I had a huge ich outbreak and I moved him into a hospital tank with a few others. I have always wondered how long he would have lasted if I hadnt had to move him...

But the statistics dont lie. Most dont last long at all, and I wont ever try again. Cleaner shrimp are the way to go.

Use cleaner shrimp and neon gobies. Cleaner wrasses along with some other fish will not live in captivity long unless maybe you had a huge tank with lots of fish to eat off. Also they've done studies on areas where cleaner wrasses have been collected from and overall fish populations are down big time in those areas as oppose to areas where the wrasses aren't collected from. So each one you buy really helps destroy populations and its a huge domino effect.

dont get the common cleaner wrasse.. get either the African or i hawaiin. i have a gold / black one thats doing well and eats anything...

My tank is a 125 gallon and I've had a cleaner wrasse in it for 2 year and still going strong. He thinks he is a tang, he follows them everywhere (not cleaning either) and even tries to pick at the algea the same time they do. lol. He is a great little fish but I won't get another one knowing their poor survival rate in capativity and how important they are to the reefs. Bad choice on my part, but a lot of good luck.

I.had one for.over two years my fav fish every time I cleaned the tank he would clean my hand then one day he went mia sad to.see him go not sure if I will get another one but seen some really cool pink headed ones at my lfs
