Cleaning dry rock

Zoa eating nudibranchs, I want it to work faster....if I let it sit over night, it'll freeze....I'm in south Dakota and it has started to freeze here. That and I want it pure white

Then a two bleaches, then one more acid bath, then going to soak in water for 3 days and nights. My question is will any chlorinater work? Like the stuff you buy from Walmart

As long as it says it removes chlorine.
I use the cheap stuff from Petsmart.
API brand.

I wouldn't do another acid bath. You actually do loose a little rock each time.

I would rinse off the rock real good, then do the bleach bath, and as long as everything is off the rock that you wanted, then call it good and do the dechlonator bath

Bleach is used for sterilization "killing" while Acid is used for phosphate and copper removal.

I tend to bleach, soak in Seachem's prime, vinegar or acid bath, add baking soda after bath to raise the PH, then let the rock sit out for a while.

Use original chlorine non scented (not splash-less regular)

OK so I took a ph test and got about an even 8. On the freshwater color chart....what should it be for it to be at 8 in saltwater

I think the biggest worry when you are messing with all the chemicals is to maintain a level of personal safety.
Gloves, eye protection, and doing it all outside.

Gotcha. It's all now on the last step, sitting in water with dechlorinator. Going to swap water out tomorrow with ro
