Just wondering what everyone uses to clean the wet side? Soak it in something or just clean by hand? Thanks for the input.

I use vinegar to soak a bit then toothbrush to clean and rinse in sink.

I also use some white vinegar and a soft tooth brush. Has always done the job, and it get's the wet sides looking like new.

+1. I take it totally apart and soak in white vinegar for an hour or two. Toothbrush takes off the rest of the gunk.

Agree with all here. One bit of advice from my experience though.....every 2-3 months, let it soak in vinegar overnight. Ecotech recommended that to me. I had the ceramic coating on the shaft of a 6 month old wetside completely fail and they claimed it was a result of not soaking overnight every 2-3 months. My routine prior was weekly cleanings with a tooth brush and biweekly disassembly and soak in vinegar for an hour while doing tank maintenance.

I do the above, but also completely take the wetside apart... All the way down to the ceramic shaft and the magnet itself. I find if you don't do this, too much gunk builds up and that's never a good thing.
