So I am setting a new tank and my old one is completely overrun with hair algae. What is the best way to clean and have the best possible chance of moving my equipment over without bringing the algae over? I’ve heard muartic acid works if diluted is that true? Thanks!

Yeah it should be fine. But you should really figure out why you had the algae problem before you start over, otherwise you’ll inevitably get it again.

Yea I definitely did! The old tank was my first tank ever and was a DIY tank where I didn’t know what I was doin this tank was a lot more carefully designed and fixed my newbie issues I had!
