Hello,

maybe a stupid question but i just soaked my filter socks in warm water & bleach, rinsed them & then let them dry.
They are very clean now but i'm extremely scared to put them in my tank because they still smell a bit like bleach.

Can this be harmfull or should i keep rinsing?

Thanks :)

Run them through the wash with a couple extra rinse cycles

No soap, no bleach

Then put them in a bowl of RODI water

People put them through bleach and rinse all the time

I don't, I don't care if they are tighty white

And I am switching to rolls, in the process currently

And no, it's not a stupid question

Back when was worried about it, I would wash with baking soda(sodium bicarb)

Perfecto. When I ran socks this is exactly what I used to do. Never had an issue.
