How often do most people need to clean the glass in their tanks? Seems like I need to clean mine twice a week. Not sure if that is normal or it is due to over feeding. I have only had my tank for 3 months so this is all new to me. Also, how do you know when it is stable? If the answer is testing, I do weekly testing but I still get algae on the sand about every 2 weeks. Thanks!

Algae is common in new tanks, just keep testing and watching your parameters. I’d also look at your lighting (red light helps algae grow) and flow which will help to eliminate dead spots for build up. For the glass I clean it everyday both internal and external. Use a Tunze scraper and externally using microfiber clothes and water.
