Is it possible to clean your inside glass including the back to often? I have this thing about my glass being hazy. Can it hurt?

I clean mine at least once a day, granted I leave my back glass alone and let the corraline algae grow over it, but the front and sides gets cleaned at minimum once a day :)

Cleaning the glass can add food to the water. Pods, snail eggs, algae are all food sources that can grow on the glass. Clean it and there’s a free feeding!

I have this real tuff light green film the grows on the glass. I take a razor scraper to it every 3/4 days to keep the glass clean .

The only things I would be concerned about is hitting the silicone too often, making sure sand/shell pieces are not on the cleaning magnet, and using a sharp cleaning instrument on acrylic. Outside that just cleaning glass or acrylic is not harmful, and should not cause hazing/fogging.

I clean mine every other day and if the sea hare OR turbo snails are looking hungry, I just leave for an extra day or two.

If you don't use them already.... Aquarium magnet cleaners are a Reefers BEST Friend.
