Ok this is my 120. As you can see it needs a cleaning. But How? Just use water? Also do i even need to clean it out can i just add my Saltwater and have the filtration clean it? If i have to do it what is the best way and what should be used to do it? PIC below:

I had a similar situation, bought an 80G off craigslist. I used water, paper towels, plain/no detergent brillo pad, and a razor blade as a scraper. I didn't want to use any chemicals or detergents, I guess you could if you rinsed it well enough, but I slept better knowing I used just water. I would definitely clean it, you never know what kind of stuff could be in there.

Fill it with water and add some vinegar. Stronger the solution the quicker it will work. Let it soak for a while and use a magic eraser to scrub. Razor if needed for the tough stuff, if any. It doesn't look terrible in the picture so it should clean up pretty easily. Thoroughly rinse when done!

Vinegar!

I'd dump a gallon in the tank and use a rag to continually wet down the sides until it's clean.

Scrub everything down with vinegar and a cloth, it'll take any calcification off in no time.

LOL sounds like vinegar is the choice used to clean the tank. It is downstairs so i guess i can throw a gallon in and wet dry vac it up and repeat until clean. Thanks guys.

Dump the gallon and let it sit....even over night if need be. Continue to wet the sides to dissolve any deposits.

Mix water with vinegar. Seriously your tank will be brand new. I did it with a biocube. I did like 3-4 gallons of vinegar and filled the tank all the way up. Let it sit for 2 days and everything came off easily.
