cleaning media after treatments over

just wont to ask if I have to clean all the filters and media after cupramin treatment (even if saw no disease) or can I just swill out tank and heater /filter with water ! and leave the filter media for starting again with fresh QT salt mix for new lot of fish! Don't wont to kill the bacteria as iv not got any more media in sump yet to use!

I didnt clean any media and i did cupramine in my 135g display tank with 60lbs of cycled rock and 50 lbs of sand from a smaller tank i moved to it.. and 60lbs of fresh dead rock and sand.... i did it for like 8 days..

All i did was put in bags of activated carbon in my hang on on backs and a bag of cuprizorb.. and let it run for a week... Put in my corals and i never had any issies.. its been 4 months now.

I dont believe cupramine really does what some people claim it does... i had no issues.

So if it were me id just get some activated carbon whi h is dirt cheap and run it in the tank for a week or two and be done with it
