I almost used windex, thank goodness i stopped myself. ThanksDon't use glass cleaner you don't want the chemicals in your tank. I use white vinegar and water mixed in a spray bottle
sorry i should have clarified that my tank is glass and not acrylic. thanks for catching that. never even occurred to me what it could do to an acrylic tankMr clean erasers are a microebrasive. Be careful if you have acrylic.
That's pretty much what i do now. Think I'm going to try the micro clothe i get at the auto parts store.Water and clean paper towels for me. Spray with water, wipe down with the paper towel for the first pass, then go back over with a second pass with just a dry paper towel. First pass gets the crud off the glass, but leaves behind smudges and streaks. Second pass cleans up the smudges. Simple and easy.
I've tried the microfiber cloths, but to be honest I didn't really like them. They left behind way more streaks, and left the glass much cloudier, than I get with a simple paper towel. That's pretty much what i do now. Think I'm going to try the micro clothe i get at the auto parts store.
