cleaning real reef rock for new tank.

I'm in the process of getting a new tank but would like to use my old rock , but I have a few problems with it. I've started getting bubble algae and also have a small bit of aiptasia and I've got some Vermetid Snail. the rock 2 years old there is about 20kg what would be the best way to rid it of my problems before adding it back to the new tank?

if It were me, I’d pull the rock and manually remove as much bubble algae as possible, rinse off with RODI before replacing. If vermetids are that much of a problem to you, glue the tips. Aiptasia aren’t going anywhere. If you don’t want them, start anew with dry rock. You can cycle without light to try to kill any other unwanted things. But I’ve seen bubble algae and aiptasia grow in nearly zero light.
