Looking for ideas on the best approach to cleaning up a used IM Fusion NUVO 40 that I got recently. The overflow portion is very tight and there’s a bunch of residue I’d like to get out, but I won’t be able to reach everything to scrub. This is especially hard in the return chamber that goes underneath the two overflow chambers.
So far I’m thinking fill the back portion with water and dump in a half gallon or so of vinegar. Next, throw a pump down in the return to circulate back up into one of the overflow and let it run for a few hours. Is there a preferred ratio for vinegar/water to be effective without causing any issues? Any other approaches that might work better?
