Cleaning rock off algae

Hi guys,

Long story short, I want to take down my tank and start again, not happy with placement of the tank, scape etc.. But i have a question i have a bit of green algae on my rock, not hair algae just green. Any ideas how i can clean the rock i don't really mind if i kill bacteria off it as i have another tank where I can house my fish until this is cycled again, or should I just scrub it off with a wire brush put the rock back and keep the lights off, or just leave it alone and put the rock back when i finish with moving the tank in new location? just use a toothbrush and let it sit in sun and dry if you dont care or just do water change fix nutrients

Thanks man, do you know what type of algae is this? And is it caused by nutrients or light?
