I have an aquatic 8800 booster pump and whenever I set up the pump I placed the booster pump before the sediment filter as it hummed whenever I placed the pump after the sediment filter, probably because it was then operating off lower pressure. Anyways the pump now if back to humming and I didn't place any pre-filter before the booster pump. I have a feeling some little piece of grass or something had made its way into the booster pump and is making it hum now. Is it possible to take it apart to clean the pump? I haven't seen any posts about people doing this and I don't want to break it or cause it to begin leaking so any advice would be appreciated.

I would say not. Lets see if someone else has an answer:)

I feel like it definitely can be done, I just don't want to be the first person to do it and then break it while I'm taking it apart.
