Cleaning skimmer

got a random question...

Typically when I clean my pumps, skimmer, and powerheads I just soak them in vinegar/water.

Would it be alright to run my skimmer in this vinegar/water mix to get an extra good cleanse? Or would this be bad for it?

That's what I do with my skimmer, I run it overnight then wipe everything down with a sponge or a tooth brush to clear off the crud. Then rinse and put back in service

Disassemble, tooth brush and different shaped bottle brushes.

Reassemble and go.

No vinegar necessary IMO but I do a regular cleaning monthly.
