How often should your tank glass have to be cleaned? I get that it's possibly more for my viewing pleasure than the health of the tank, BUT what if I'm wrong?
I use my Flipper every other day to clean the film from the glass. Is that a sign of an imbalance in tank chemistry?

Lately, It seems with three tanks. . .
Smallest is every 2-3 days
Mid size is once a week
Largest every 4-6 days

Is your tank at or near a window by chance?

I clean the glass 2-3 times a week. As the tank matured, I noticed less need. I used to wipe it every day, but then I had a copepod explosion and don’t seem to have the need anymore.

yes, patio sliding glass doors. Blinds and curtains don't get opened very much.
There is enough UV from indirect sun to cause this. Try blocking for a week with black construction paper (92 cents at walmart) and you will know
