Before I transfer all my live rock from old tank to new, how do I get rid of most of the Xenia off the rock? :squigglemouth: Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you for your help and time.

Just give it a pinch at the base and it will come right off....but be forewarned, your hands will smell horrible for 2 days without gloves..:xd:

Its funny because the first coral I had was pulsing xenia and I was told it will spread like wildfire and to try to isolate it. Well I was using kalk powder back then and my first time adding it I didnt mix it well enough, some of the powder fell right on the xenia and I watched it melt in front of my eyes.

Thanks for your advice. I did what you suggested and yes my hands smelled real bad. I washed my hands in warm bleach water with antibiocic soap. It took the smell right off.:clap2: Then rewashed several times to make sure I got all the bleach off. It worked! Thanks again.
