Cleaning used water storage containers?

Just got two used 125 gal Norwesco water storage containers from the dry goods forum and am wondering if I should clean them and if so, what is the best way to do that? He used one strictly for RODI water and the other was for mixing saltwater. Look very clean but do I risk it for my setup without cleaning them first?

Wouldn’t hurt to rinse a bit with white vinegar.

I would dilute a bit, just assuming the containers are mostly clean, and give em a quick scrub if possible. I’ll use straight vinegar for super dirty things covered in coraline.

A bleach/water mix makes a good cleaner as well. Just rinse it well and leave the lid off for 24 hours. I've never had an issue doing this.
