Looks like a type of sponge. The name, I cannot remember for the life of me.No, right now it's just in that spot on the rock under that coral.
Cuc is not touching it and I am not carbon dosing.Cuc not eating it ?
what’s your parameters and are you carbon dosing ?
I removed the coral and it looks like the sponge was stuck to the plug only and not the rock (phew). I was able to quickly remove it from the plug. It feels very squishy and almost like reef glue when exposed to water but not sticky at all. Was able to clean off the plug and didn't see any traces on the rock. Will keep an eye and see if more is growing. It’s a celated poriferan sponge
Can get invasive
Inject with vinegar or expose to air to stop it
Yes on plug generally where area is shaded and CUC won’t even look at itCuc is not touching it and I am not carbon dosing.
