I am getting bubbles like green bubble algae BUT the bubbles are clear. Is there such a thing as clear bubble algae? It looks just like bubble algae, some clusters, all sizes. There is not a lot of it and this pic isn't great but, maybe it's not bubble algae. Hard to get a pic of cuz it's clear. I have had bubble algae in previous tanks so I'm not sure what this is, but it is growing just like green bubble algae. This tank setup has been soo strange compared to my previous one of 12-15 years ago. I am better equipped this round, RO water for one thing!! My first tank in the 80's was well water!!!

I’ve seen bubble algae that’s translucent after it leaks out another place in the bubble it’s basically dead and water inside but still holds its shape. Could also be anything that traps air bubbles

@ahiggins I'm going to touch it and see if it pops or is rubbery like bubble algae. :)
