Clear fibers on utter chaos?

I was looking at my utters this morning and I noticed these thick clear fibers on the frag plate. Any idea what they are? Sorry for poor picture I'll take more after work

Kinda looks like an old molt from a shrimp... do you have shrimp?

I was thinking that. I just added 2 peppermint shrimp last night. And moved my cleaner shrimp into a new tank. I noticed he melted this morning in the other tank
