Currently researching acrylic tanks - I've only owned glass in the past. Does anyone have any experience with the "Clear for Life" brand? Seems reasonably priced for acrylic in the 75-90gal range.

Any other brands out in there in this range?

May I ask way you want to go with acrylic?
Personally the slight increase in clarity is not out weighed by how easy it scratches.

I’m all acrylic and I have one of these. They’re not the greatest quality acrylic so they do scratch easily and they are a bit thin. On the other hand, for the price, it’s a very serviceable tank.

I went acrylic because a 200g glass tank around my young kids just had me panicked. We now have three acrylic tanks and I wouldn’t go back to glass.

Acrylic does scratch, but so does glass though not as easily. The benefit of acrylic is scratches can be buffed out. Now that I know how, I give them some love every 6 months and they stay crystal clear. Hard to beat having better clarity, less weight, better structural durability, and the ability to keep them looking like new!

I've always liked the clean seam-less design. Supposedly, they have less chance of leaking as well...

I have always been a fan of Acrylic tanks... welded seams vs silicone "glue"... My first 55g acrylic tank in high school (1985) is STILL up and running (someone else owns)... my current 120g is 15yrs old. Dont know the specific manuf you are referencing but as long as the acrylic is of proper thickness and the seams are free of voids should be good.

+1... Been using acrylic since 1991, still have 3 120g tanks that are over 20 yrs old and look great. Have had 200, 300, 450 & 500g tanks... Wouldn't take a glass tank for free! (Except to give away)

I ordered the Clear for life 90gal acrylic today w/Laguna stand and canopy. These are priced very well, but the only major problem I see is that top is sealed only leaving two 15" X 7" cutouts . This could make cleaning difficult and limit the size of rock/coral decor?
