Clear strings in water

Hi all

I have several white, almost transparent string like things attached to some of my soft coral and live rock. They are easily 4 inches long.

Just wondering if they are harmful or not.

I'm a complete noob, but it really seems to be hooked on some of the coral polyps. It looks sort of like a comb

I think I may of had the same things. Someone told me they were comb jellies.
