Are those live plants or decorations?
Likely lots of biofilm built up on them if plastic.

What are you running as filteration?
We can start there.

They are decorations, I couldn't find any nice sway'y plants ... Using a Fluval FX4

I am most certain your issue is the UV coming through those windows on the doors. UV is strong and will penetrate curtains, shades and blinds

So beyond block up the windows and don’t let light touch the tank what are my options to combat this? Something like?

I’m new in the hobby, having a evo 13, had a bacterial bloom a while back so I changed my carbon, cleared in a short time after. I would recommend adding carbon and wait a bit before you go out buying a UV filter

UV yes will help - Not keen on this version or aquatop brand but ones like aqua-ultraviolet, jebao, and Ice Cap

Wheres your aquarium light??

Put that sucker on so you arent delaying the algae process anymore.

Fwiw with natural light, your tanks ugly algae and water color is the first thing you will see.

I'm inclined to agree. There is a bit of a greenish tint to the water, which I would attribute to the natural light from all of the windows.

I would try to find a new location for the tank. Its only 75 gallons and easy enough to move.

UV lighting is a good idea. But is there a UV light strong enough to counter all the natural light in the room?

Whats the issue with the Fluval? Just curious as it seems like a good fit with my FX4

Its under the front lid I usually don't have it on all the time though.

ha easy to move :) ... If you say so... and the color/clarity is exactly why I'm looking for something to combat it - it doesn't get a whole lot of direct light aside from a couple hours in the AM. So if a UV light is what I need I think I'll try it.

Not saying its bad but opposed to a full UV radiation bulb , it uses a Cathode Fluorescent Light which is less effective and will take longer to accomplish what you intend to do

I think you need to keep your blues up a bit more, the glass cleaned daily and this should settle out just fine.
My water looks yellow when there is only natural lighr lighting the tank and a faint green haze from the glass algae.

Do you have any livestock or cuc yet?

interesting I actually don't control the light color/temp etc its just a basic LED light strip that came with the tank, has two settings one "night" blue mode and one mostly white day type light - There's CUC and a few fish (foxface, clown, goby)

Could be part of the problem why you are visually seeing a more yellowish tint.

Clean all sides of the glass with mr clean magic eraser and take another photo with the shades drawn so its not illuminated with natural light.

It really is easy.

(2) 40 gallon brute on wheels. Siphon off all but a few inches of water into the pails.

(2) people with strong backs to relocate.

Roll the pails over to the new location and refill.
Start to finish, 30 minutes.
