ClearView Aquarium Lids Master Thread - It all started RIGHT HERE!!!

For those who got their lids already. After your final decision on dimensions of your lid, how long until you actually received it? I spoke with Adam 2 weeks ago and decided on my final dimensions but i havent received an email that it shipped yet.

It took my lid about 3 weeks from the time I paid to the time I received my lid.

If you want to add cutouts to a standard lid (RSR for example), is there a way to do that through the website or do you require an email prior to ordering?

To my knowledge they will do any cutouts you need. I believe they have a place for special instructions when you are ordering it, if not then an email with your order number should work. With its popularity they won't get to most orders for a few weeks so you'll have time to make sure they know exactly what you want.

Wow these are nice. Gotta get some cash together and order! Any one who has received theirs can you post a full tank shot from the front? I have seen all angles except that. I imagine it looks just as good as all the other angles.

You maybe correct and you cannot but you can still order and send them an email with all the cut outs you'd like with your order number. With them being so popular they will not be able to get to making your order until they do the ones before you and last I heard it was about four week so expect beginning of June ship if you ordered now.

What lead time is everyone seeing? I ordered mine on 3/25, and still have not gotten confirmation of measurements or shipment notification. I have emailed sales 2 weeks ago and they said it might be last week to ship. Now this week I have emailed them to no response. Please advise.

Hey atl, we got and responded to your email from yesterday. Our main ClearView Artisan was out of the shop last week dealing with a family emergency so it backlogged lid completion a bit. Your lid is cut and queued up for assembly. We are back in full swing and processing out a LOT of lids this week so stay tuned =).

When you place your order, Google Chrome or otherwise, the order page will be a Single Page Checkout. At the very bottom of the checkout page (below payment info) there is a "Comments" box. This is where we ask you to include info for your cutouts. In the event your cutouts need further explanation than text will allow you can submit a rough sketch in response to your Order Confirmation email after you have placed your order. This will keep all pertinent info tallied up with the appropriate order =)

That would be odd to not have the Comments box present. In the event it doesn't work right, you can still respond to the order confirmation email with your details. This is the method we have people use who need to submit sketches anyway. Let us know if you have any other questions/issues.

Update with photos
40 IM Nuvo custom acrylic lid.
Slot on side for feeder 2 slots for rear cables and front removable feeder lid. Great quality I recommend them.
Original IM lids have a black border that light can not pass through. These acrylic lids have a lot more light passing through into the tank!!
