Clearview Lid Owners/Purchasers: what is (was) your wait time

These have been discussed in some FB groups recently but wanted to poll the group here. For those still waiting or who have recently received their lids, how long are you into the wait or how long was the wait? I’m currently on day 96/77 and my revised timeline is another week. I thought they tell you beforehand that it is getting ready to be built so I’m guessing my wait will be longer.

I ordered my classic lid for my RSR 525XL on 14 Apr and it was delivered (to Sydney Australia) on 24 Jun. Pretty happy with that. Quoted times for the Tsunami were a few weeks longer, so it does vary according to the style of lid.

Ordered mine August 25th. Sucks that it has to take so long. I have not waited nearly as long as you but I’m starting to get irritated. 57/40

Yea I just added a few Wrasses to the tank. I built one of those Red Sea kits. I hate that lid. They look awesome in the pictures but not in real life. Can’t wait until the Clearview gets here. I got the Tsunami, not really sure why it takes 45+ days to make one.

When I talked to them the big thing was getting the Plex glass in but since it’s such high demand for stores ext to get to make walls between customers and Employees I guess that’s why

I ordered the Pisces EXO on June 2 and it arrived September 5. Those have the longest production time of 77 days, but mine took closer to 90.

Ordered 2 classic lids for 2 framed 60gal frag tanks on Sept 12. Wait on classics was 52-59 business days before October 8th. Don’t know if that means now it’s more or less time. I’m about 40 days, but counting the weekends, lol. If by , M-F, I’m expecting them end of November. This is what I need to cover.

Ordered in May and arrived towards end of Sept/beginning on Oct. No notice until shipping details sent.

It is a better product than the red sea I had on it

Ordered 9/29. I expect Santa to bring it late one night on a dirty UPS truck sometime in December.

Although much smaller I ordered a lid for my biocube from Krakenreef.com at the same time. That came in 2 weeks.

I got mine in about a month, though that was a few years ago when they were called artfully acrylic. I guess they’re probably busier now.

Wow, better than me. I ordered in June and didn’t get until Monday for the same lid. They also messed up on the lighting mounts and forgot the chord cut outs I ordered but given how long it took, I’m just calling it a day.
