I have a clearwater scrubber CW-50 that has been running about a week. It says to run at 150 gph but I seem to have to run it at about 200gph to keep the drain full and to not gurgle. Is this normal? Is it possible to add some sort of valve on the drain line to keep the water above the drain bulk head. It just seems kind of loud to me they way I have it running but maybe it's just me.

Do not put a valve on your drain I have had my Clearwater overflow on me before when it gets clogged you need that open drain to allow the water to flow otherwise you will have a big problem

And believe me that super small safety extra drain is worthless because that clogs even faster
