Climbing aboard the R2R train

Welcome, glad you decided to rebuild and join us at R2R.

Welcome to R2R!

With your humble tone, you will find bounteous portions of mercy and forgiveness here.

Sorry for your loss. If the electrical issue/fire resulted from tank equipment, can you share some educational details about the incident? I could use some motivation to untangle the jumble of wires that accompany my systems.

You can ask questions, that always works. You can check out other peoples tank build threads and see how others have done things. My builds are kind of outside the norm.

As for being old... I think of it as excess experience! And I'm fairly sure I'm the oldest member of the #reefsquad at 70. And I'm just setting up a new 90g tank that I built myself!

Well... welcome to the forums, at least. So sorry to hear about your previous losses :( . Regardless, you'll find LOTS of great info here and it should be able to help you get into things relatively easily.

Found this site a while back and really
discovered some topics that have helped
me out. I'm on month four of a major
tank reboot due to electrical issues and
a fire that wiped out almost everything
in my tank.

As I rebuild from the ashes, I will be
reaching out to the community for advice
and guidance on a few issues that have
popped up during my aquatic reconstruction.
Please be merciful. I may be old, but I
make up for it by being slow to catch on... :)
