Clip on lights and glass tops

I want clip on lights for my new tank, but my tank will have species that are known for jumped hence the glass top. Will clip on lights work okay with a glass top? Thanks

They can work. With a glass top you should have a cutaway portion in the back. I would just cut away enough for the bracket to attach to the back of the tank.
