I thought I had everything set for an overnight trip.
Returned home to skimmer cup over flow and return close to empty. Just enough water to cover pump. Lucky was set to low speed.
Had turned off the ato.
If I was away another night possible disaster.

Solution is a skimmerless AIO tank with a lid - you can go away for a month and basically nothing can happen.

The more tech you have less relaxing your holidays are.

Stories like this make me glad my wife has 3 great danes! We rarely go anywhere over night and if we do it’s right back home in the morning to let the pooches out!
