Closed Reef Ecosphere?

I know it has been done with freshwater but would it work with saltwater and corals I would think not because of flow but if you know something it would be cool to see or hear about!

I saw a page where a guy did a closed marine system, but cannot find the link. If anyone finds it I would love to have it again.

He used algae for O2 generation, had live rock, sand bed, and some softies.

I think pj reef sells an enclosed reef system.. though i read in his instruction that you have to open it once in a while

Also i tried doing this where i put an aiptasia on a sealed jar and it died in less than 2 days
