Cloud White Haze

It’s definitely newer, around 4 months up and running. Still fighting the algae bloom but it’s on its way down. Is this normal cycling ? If so anything we can do or just continue to let it cycle naturally as it is? I do not have protein skimmer nor UV filter, hoping to go all natural as I’ve read each additional artificial filters throw others out of sync or filter too well for the coral etc. I do have several algae plants such as dragons tongue and others to help filter… no refugium (yet ?)

Sounds natural to me. Going all natural definitely comes at the cost of more time to get there. Give it time and it should clear up.

One more thing, if it is really cloudy, you may want to add an air stone or increase your surface agitation to increase gas exchange while it is cloudy. A bacterial bloom will reduce the oxygen levels in the water which can effect livestock. I only bring this up becauae you are not running a skimmer which would normally handle this issue.

I’ve seen those lower end UV lights…

but again unsure if I want to add this type of filter or let us balance out naturally
