So I just am starting my tank and the first initial fill was cloudy and dirty looking I'm guessing from the sand and dry rock I used.. So I did a 20 percent water change then added salt so now My tank is on its 3rd day cycling and I finally got my salinity right where I want it. The water has cleared up from what it used to look like but Ita still cloudy.... what do i do should I go get my water tested now that I finally got my salinity where I want it... PLEASE HELP ME! Also I have no light on.

Let it be.. it'll clear on its own. Don't do much of anything for a bit. I promise, it'll settle down and be pretty... At least until the new tank uglies kick in...

Just watch it and start planning out your next year's worth of purchases to fill it. No need for testing for awhile...i recommend dosing pure ammonia to 2ppm and then letting the cycle do its thing.

Thanks I hope it will. I'm excited my first saltwater coming from a freshwater hobbyist
