Hello!

So a week ago I did a water change on my tank because it was cloudy and then I cleaned the filter yesterday because it was still a little cloudy. And now it's still cloudy. How do I help make it not cloudy and make it nice and clear?
It's a 15 gallon all in one tank.

Normally cloudiness comes from a bacteria bloom, suspended sand, or micro bubbles (usually from a skimmer). How long has your tank been set up? Have you made any changes recently? Can you tell us more about your tank and filtration?

My tank is a lifeguard all-in-one Aquarium. It's been up for 1 1/2 months. The filter gas 3 compartments. First with a sponge, second with the balls and a carbon bag and the third is the filter out back into the tank. Idk if I should get a new carbon bag or not. My tank has 4 zoas, 2 torch, and a Kenya tree. Everything started to get wonky after I added my 2 clownfish. I haven't made any serious changes except adding the fish. I also have 4 trochus snails and 4 nassarius snails.

Your 2 clownfish created a bacterial bloom (increase in bio load). May want to check ammonia and nitrite. I'm in the process of cycling at tank and I have not added a single fish and it's been 2 month's. Nothing good happens fast in a reef tank.

Good luck

Try a bag of ChemiPure Blue. This stuff works Good !!

I've been checking my ammonia and nitrites and nothing has changed. Everything's stayed the same and is good. Could be the fish still though.

Two months without any fish in the tank? Thats a little excessive lol. Did you add anything to start the cycle?

for future reference, if you add fish in a tank that small, its best to add bacteria in a bottle like bacter7 or stability to help with the offset in bioload.
I myself am not a fan of stability. The product that I have used with great success is Dr. Tim's one and only. In fact, you can add a fish the same day you set up the system.

why is that? I have used it before and I haven't had any issues...… curious to hear input from others....
