So I set up a 14gal biocube about 2 months ago. It was a fairly quick cycle since I had a couple sponges from my 55 that I used to seed it. Had a Xenia, favia, Duncan, galaxia, birdsnest, and a trumpet coral in it. No fish. Everything was doing great. Woke up one morning to a cloudy tank. It was to the point that I couldn't even see the rocks in it. Emediatly did a water test, and everything was perfect. 0 amonia, 0 nitrites, 0-5 nitrates, ph 8-8.2, Ca 400, alk 9.2dkh, Mg 1320. Figured I would try a water change and changed out about 2.5 gal. No difference. Changed out 5 gal 2 days ago and still cloudy. It's going on 2 weeks with it being cloudy. I did move all the corals to my 29 bio, not because they were deteriorating, but because I could hardly see them. I did notice the tank one day in the 85 deg range and have the hood propped open a bit now. I am running a carbon pad in the sump, and a skimmer just added this past weekend. At ideas on what it is, and how to finally clear up the problem? No pun intended.
