Cloudy Eyed Porc Puffer Need Treatment or Normal?

I’ve had my puffer for just under a year and he’s had these spots on his eyes as l can remember. I believe since before I got him as a juvenile. I didn’t think much of it since he has always looked like this but is it something I need to treat? Thanks

It's normal on many puffers to have that "speckled" appearance. Can't remember what they call it but it has something to do with protecting the eyes from strong light.

But they can also have scratchy looking eyes from rubbing against objects in the tank. Usually heals by itself, but can require attention if they become cloudy, kinda like plastic headlights on cars when they get old. Giving them in a bath with Ruby Reef Rally, which is very mild and works well on "mild" infections can help with the scratches.

But look out for the "Cloudy" eye which is bad and requires stronger antibiotics to address infection.

I agree 100%. This is normal, I don't see anything obvious to be concerned with. Puffers eyes are designed to be able to see better at night as well, perhaps this leads to the cloudiness or speckled appearance here.

Puffers DO get cloudy eyes problematically, often when treated with copper which need to be treated as infections. These are much more obvious and I don't see evidence of this in your photo
