Hi everyone!
I have question regarding cloudy water. I recently noticed my water getting cloudy in my 60 gallon tank with 15gal sump and a bubble magus skimmer. I currently have a coral mix and 4 fish 1 sail fin and 3 cardinals. I made a 15 gal water change using my usual AF reef salt. I dose AF 123 at 10ml per night.
Water parameter dropped after water change to:Ca-375; Ph 7.4; KH 8.6/Alk 3.08; Mg 1260; SG 1.024; PO4 0.0

It was a sudden drop I was very close to the optimal parameters for corals as suggested in reef recommendations. I was at prior to water change --Ca420; Ph8.0; KH 11.8/ Alk4.22; SG1.025; Mg 1350.

Did the sudden change in parameter cause my water to get cloudy? There are no foul smell in water from decaying and corals and fish appear to be ok. See pic. The cloudy water occurred before water change.

I thought of same, however all I dose is AF Component 123. Not sure if that has organic carbon.
About 4 days ago is placed poly filter and a bag of activated carbon in sump overflow but the water continues to be cloudy.
I will attempt another water change this weekend. how would you address a bacterial bloom?

Thx for the reply and advice. I will track it. For now the corals and fish all look fine. It is just the look that bugs me. Thx
