Hi All ,

I filled my new 100g with fresh RODI to perform leak test .. it took 4 days to fill the tank and sump .

After day 4 , rodi water became so cloudy and becoming worse day by day ..

I haven’t added salt yet ..
will this rodi water clear up ? Or I have to use fresh water again ?

Probably just a bacterial bloom, is there a slimy white film on anything like your overflow? VOC’s from air fresheners, scented candles, fresh paint etc.. can cause this.

It is fresh RODI water .. I don’t see any white flim .. I used my old mp40 and vectra m1 for circulation.. is it good to add salt ? Will it clear ?

It should be fine to add salt and will clear in time, probably contaminants on your old pumps that seeded it. A cheap UV filter will help clear it up.. I had the exact thing happen on my current tank, filled tank with just water for a week or so while waiting on my rock and it got cloudy so I picked up a green machine UV filter for like $35 and it cleared my tank up in a couple days. It should go away on it’s own with no intervention if you don’t mind waiting.
